Sept. 2000- June 2001: Director of Strategy/Internet Project Director for GSD&M, a national advertising agency. Advise agency clients on web marketing and promotion, renovate client websites, create email ad campaigns, banner advertising campaigns, manage intranet/extranet/internet projects. Clients include Samsclub.com, Schwab, Chili's, CyberTrader, Walmart, Brinker Properties (Chili's, Macaroni Grill, On the Border, Corner Bakery), more. I took this position to round out my interactive advertising experience with a national advertising agency.

1997-2000 and current: Incorporated as Pithy Productions, Inc. Clients include:

• Wells Fargo Online Brokerage (April-July 00):
  Web Strategist, WellsTrade website, San Francisco. Web strategy, competitive analysis, gap analysis and content procurement/licensing for major renovation of the brokerage website, integration of Norwest website, and transition to content management system. Analysis of online brokerage application process.
• Netscape Corporation, Mountain View, CA (Nov. 97 to June 00):
  Producer, Communicator website (Nov. 99-June 00). Web strategy, planning and implementation of highly-integrated (browser/website) next-generation browser, Netscape 6. Managed 6 person team for development of increasingly web-based browser on PR1 and PR2.
• Producer, Sitewide Advertising (Nov. 98-Nov. 99): Took this position during an emergency: advertising had just been implemented on Netcenter, bringing the entire site to a crawl with 2+ minute page load times. Reduced sitewide page load time to 10 seconds, managed implementation project overseeing 30 internal producers and 20 third-party producers. After merger with AOL, managed largest renovation project Netscape has ever pushed--swap out all ads on 30,000 URL site from one ad service provider (AdForce) to another (AOL). Managed team that developed interface between ad database and web pages, duplicating all functionality of AdForce ad program using JavaScript, CGI, HTML, databases, AOL's proprietary web servers. Headed implementation project with 30 internal producers and 20 third-party vendors. Launched on time, on budget with 0% site downtime.
• Producer/Program Manager, Communicator website (Nov. 97-Nov. 98). Long-term strategy and planning with browser product and marketing team. Web market research and competitive analysis. Full charge project manager for website for 4.0 to 6.0 product. Developed Communicator News and Communicator Tips & Tricks to support weekly pull strategy.
• Producer, other Netscape web projects 1997-2000: Mailcast Newsletters: Develop html newsletters --shopping, membership, general monthly-- for use with Annuncio system mailcast to millions. Communicator for Internet Explorer Users, Communicator for New Users: Developed web training programs to support strategy of selling to consumer market. Tour of New Features: Turnkey product demo. Messenger Start, Messenger Tips: Developed training and tips displayed in each Messenger user's start-up window. Not Found: Developed system page to prevent Error 404 Not Found messages on Netcenter. Netscape Everywhere Program : Extensive renovation and re-architecture of forms-intensive site.

1997 NetAdvantage Corporation, Mountain View, CA. Vice President of Marketing for e-commerce start-up of turnkey outsource e-commerce transaction processing for small businesses. Developed website to interface with product, business plan, marketing plan, technical specs. Hired as Director, promoted to Vice President.

1996 YWCA Community Education Web Instructor and Freelance web development, San Jose, CA. Taught web intro and web editing classes including graphics, animation, html editing. Developed numerous small turnkey websites.

1996 Chordiant Corporation, Palo Alto, CA. Managed implementation of second-generation website.
